Integrating healthy lifestyle habits is always easier with pleasure and gradually.
If you want to get in shape, choose an activity or sport that you enjoy: swimming, yoga, brisk walking, cycling, tennis, dancing, jogging, etc. Gradually increase the level and frequency of exercise at your own pace.
As for diet, if you have a sweet tooth, reduce industrial sugars as much as possible and opt for natural sugars: dates, raisins, various fruits, tofu puddings or soy beverages.
Choose good fats: olive, flax, camelina, hemp oils.
Opt for lean meats, fish and seafood. Legumes and tofu are excellent sources of lean protein. Make sure you eat enough protein.
Eat slowly and mindfully. The awareness with which you eat your food is almost as important as the food you eat.
Don't forget the water! 30ml per kilo of weight, daily.
It is important to sleep an average of 8 hours per night. It is during the night that the body regenerates and strengthens its immune system. Avoid screens 30 minutes before going to bed and adopt a ritual to induce sleep (hot shower, reading, calming herbal tea, etc.)
Because stress is a silent killer and the number one reason for abandoning healthy lifestyle habits, it is important to integrate a stress management method into your daily routine: meditation, visualization, deep breathing, etc.
